About Wangderlust
just to clarify this page is a combination of my family name and wanderlust lah!
Before the ending of Wretch (無名小站), I had already started one on Pixnet. The first post was written in 2014, the beginning of a novel I started after returning from working holiday in Australia. The second post, however, was in 2019. At that time, I thought I should start documenting my solo travel with Xiaoixiao and backpacking experiences while the memories were fresh. But here we are in 2023, with various excuses I gave myself along the way. The pandemic outbreak, changing jobs, and the passing of my little Xiaoxiao all happened in the meantime. Amidst all this, I realized that starting a fresh space was necessary to keep these stories from stagnating. So, during my honeymoon return and maternity leave, Wangderlust was born.
The background above almost covers everything about me in this place I want to introduce. Launching my own website to preserve these memories has always been a romantic notion for me. It's also a way for me to share these memories with everyone.
